KwaDukuza Technical (Stanger FET) College (Pty) Ltd has been in operation since 2002. It started at home with an enrolment of 3 students with National Examinations being written at accredited centres in Durban and Stanger.
With the increasing popularity of the N-courses (Engineering) among students and industries it was decided by S. Thotha and Mrs J.Thotha to establish Stanger FET College which was registered as a CC in 2004 with them as directors.

THE COUNCIL is responsible (as set out in FET Act) for the overall governance of the college and is accountable to the Department of Higher Education and Training and the constituency it serves.
Among the responsibilities of the Council are:
THE ACADEMIC BOARD is accountable to the Council for all matters relating to academic quality and provision. In particular, it is concerned with establishing internal academic monitoring and quality assurance procedures. The Academic Board is the main internal structure of the institution. As such, the persons who sit on the Board need to be immersed in the debates about the implementation of the NQF.
